back from the camp at loola resort. i love it, it's much memorable then sec3 camp. its more of confident building and woeking together as a council. well, the trip from singapore to the resort is about 3 hrs+. it was bus, ferry then bus again.
it looked like this and the last hut there is OURS- aishah, siting, safa, kesha, me, hafizah and munirah. just like kampung. hahah
day one
were separated into 3 different grps. mine was YAKIN consists of justin issac daniel shereen ronald yongsiang jessica izzudin zulaikha syharil me hafizah safarina fadly and nafis. we did the low rope elements, spiderweb thing and the high wall. got rope burn blisters and blue blacks from these activities. then we moved on to the second station that is the rock wall and the third station was the tree climbing but due to time constraint we choose what we want to do so safa and i choose the rock wall. LOVE IT TOO. though hands were shaking when i came down but it was GREAT. dinner was after that and we were briefed on the battle that we'll be having the next day. do up our clan's flag- 2decoys and 1actual- then slept.'
day two
woke up with MANY mosquito bites and muscle ache. continue with the preparation for the battle. we had an alliance with the S clan. well, i dont know how to spell. lol. it was then building the raft and kayaking out for our ammunition. nv really kayak la, got ppl at the back push us. so funny.. then went back on shore and build the shelter, hid the flags and then the battle started. a little like water bomb la. VERYVERY VERY fun, but our tribe did very little things but still win :) then it was the instructors + mryeo to bomb us back and got bomb by one. we washed up and started preparing for campfire. the whole council did the dance with the song pump it. so interesting. celebrated othman's birthday and the campfire was one of a kind. sec3s were so high and then started dancing like crazy ppl around the campfire. then anthony taught us this LONGWINDED PEANUT GAME. starting was interesting but at the end we were so bored with it.
day three- yesterday
set off 3 diff ways to the boat. safa and i kayak and some walk, some took the speed boat. after that the boat was dragged by another and meanwhile we did the boom netting- a large net connected by two poles to support. had to jump into the net/sea from the upper deck. second time was scarier then the first. WEIRD. it was just so once in a lifetime thing. we then headed back to the resort by bus. had lunch, wash up and packed up. so sad to leave the place.
well, this entry is SUPER long, i know. but i dont wanna FORGET THIS CAMP! i WILL MISS EVERYONE- THE PPL THERE AT THE RESORT, THE INSTRUCTORS OF PROTEGE, and of course the council had BONDED SO MUCH!
